I blame you, Eagle Farm Racecourse. I had the best intentions, i was going to behave. I was going to be boring and diligent and get my work done. I had a list of things to achieve and you know what? I got absolutely none of that done.
I promised myself i would have one champers, i would just watch the fashion on the field and i would go home and work on my spring collection but you had other plans....
You dazzled me with those fancy dancers and those beautiful buildings. I was mesmerise by the galloping hooves, bold fashion and buzzing atmosphere. And don't even get me started on your new rooftop terrace, and those delicious zesty champagne cocktails, this is where my plans all started to unravel.
You brought all of my favourite things together, fashion, food, wine and fabulous friends and i had no other choice but to surrender and make a day of it!
When on the Society roof top, try one of these you will not regret it... Unless you have work to do later...

In all honesty, despite my plans for a productive day i could not have thought of a better way to spend my Saturday so thanks Eagle Farm. The new fashion on the field marquee is fabulous, the fashion was to die for and it was such a glorious Brisbane day. Who wouldn't want to be at the races?
Thanks for the best unplanned day at the races I have had in a long time. My heart is happy and i am feeling inspired, relaxed and although the carnival is not over i am ready to think spring!
